The polynucleotide chain, in addition to attracting water molecules, has an anti-free radical action, acting as a scavenger of OH hydroxyl radicals which tend to accumulate as a result of stress, cell damage, external agents such as UV rays. The moisturizing action and anti-free radical activity help to create an optimal environment for the growth of fibroblasts, helping to restore the elasticity of the tissues.

Nucleotides, natural DNA fractions, are the peculiar and original ingredient of this new product as they have an antioxidant action, protection and reduction of cell damage caused by UV radiation or scars.

Plenhyage XL Medium contains high molecular weight polynucleotide chains whose biochemical characteristics make it highly viscoelastic and capable of binding and orienting in space a considerable quantity of water molecules, which are mainly retained at the level of the hydrophilic groups of the phosphorylated sugars of the individual nucleotides.

Macromolecules are also capable of carrying out an immediate “scavenger” action against free radicals.
